I will be giving a lecture titled, “Mapping the Double-Tongue: Incorporating Body Mapping into the Double-Tonguing Learning Process,” which will discuss the benefits and specifics of incorporating Body Mapping and kinesthetic awareness exercises into the process of learning double-tonguing. The talk will also feature data and conclusions found from a double-tonguing research study that was conducted with eight oboe students over four weeks.
